_3065 Cumbernauld History Exhibition and Guided Walk "<p>An exhibition about the social and architectural history of Cumbernauld will take place at Cumbernauld Community Enterprise Centre. Cumbernauld residents can also bring their photos of the town for Scotland\u2019s Urban Past to scan for Historic Environment Scotland\u2019s official record.<\/p><p>We\u2019re also asking Cumbernauld residents to bring their own photos of the town along to the exhibition to share. The Scotland\u2019s Urban Past team will be there on the 24th to scan these photos in to Historic Environment Scotland\u2019s official record of the built environment .<\/p><p>The exhibition itself will look at Cumbernauld from it\u2019s inception, as the result of mass overcrowding in Glasgow, and the vision of Cumbernauld as a New Town and a site of opportunity for residents and businesses alike.
