Stirling Old High School Observatory & Telescope
"<p>Take your opportunity to see\u00a0the moon, and more, through\u00a0the 130 year-old Newtonian\u00a0reflecting telescope within the\u00a0copper-domed Observatory at\u00a0the Category A Listed Stirling\u00a0Highland Hotel. This impressive\u00a0building used to be Stirling High\u00a0School building and was converted\u00a0into an hotel in 1990. Telescope\u00a0viewing will be provided by Stirling\u00a0Astronomical Society members.\u00a0Group tours of up to 10 people will\u00a0last approximately 30 minutes. This\u00a0is a very popular event so you may\u00a0have to queue but the hotel has kindly provided a room where you\u00a0can watch a digital presentation while you wait. To avoid everyone\u00a0arriving at the same time, if your party doesn\u2019t have children please\u00a0come after 8pm.\u00a0No disabled access to Observatory \u2013 due to the two flight spiral\u00a0staircase but those unable to climb the stairs can enjoy the digital\u00a0presentation.<\/p>\n<p>Doors Open<\/p>"
