Documentation can be found at http://github/MetsExport/ Kirkmaiden Old Kirk (Kirk Convenant) <p>As trouble and religions strife racked Scotland and noblemen and gentry queued to sign with their own blood the National Covenant, protesting against the rules and regulations being forced on them, work began on a small church, a Kirk. </p><p>It was the year 1668 and the wee Kirk, Kirkmaiden Old Parish Church, is still there today, known as Kirk Covenant, the southernmost parish in Scotland. Follow signs to Mull of Galloway and the Kirk is at Kirkmaiden.</p><p>Roadside parking in area adjacent to church.
