Description

The Oasis Youth Centre has its own state of the art recording studio, performance area, chill-out area, multi-media area and kitchen. It’s open Monday to Friday, and is used by lots of young people, sometimes for informal drop-ins, but also for the Duke of Edinburgh Award, Nithsdale Challenge, Young Parents’ Group and Music Nights.
Community Learning & Development Service Nithsdale works with young people aged 12 to 25 years old and is a Dumfries & Galloway Council Service.
You can also find out about volunteering opportunities and about youth services available within the Nithsdale Area.

The Oasis Youth Centre is a couple of minutes walk from Dumfries Town Centre, if you walk past the old post office and cross the road and walk past the back of Loreburn Police Station and the Oasis Youth Centre is directly opposite the old Loreburn Hall and is clearly signed. There is a public car park beside the Oasis Youth Centre and there is a disc zone car park across the road at Lesser Hall Car Park beside the old Loreburn Hall.
