The Centre is run by the Local Authority and is home to an exhibition about the poet Robert Burns and his life in the town as well as a 69 seat cinema which shows predominantly independent, documentary and foreign films.
As well as an exhibition and cinema the Centre also houses a privately run restaurant called Hullabaloo, which is open 6 days per week and on Saturdays and Sundays up until the end of September.
