As a Scottish Archaeology Month and DOD highlight, Alastair Penman of the Stewartry Archaeological Trust will offer tours of the site at 11am and 2pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

Take this opportunity to try your hand as an archaeologist, view the artifacts the digs have uncovered and hear about the Trusts investigations and theories.

Directions:
Take the A710 coastal road towards Sandyhills. Newbarns site between Portling Road-end and Sandyhills Golf Club.

Children and adults welcome to have a go at digging.

Please park in the field at the site entrance and not on the narrow road.

Stout footwear recommended.
