The transformation has included many ‘green’ and sustainable features such as recycled materials (many found on site), sheep’s wool insulation, solar water heating, passive solar gain via a conservatory and wood burning stoves for space and water heating. </p> Museum 1162 current,54.89901,-4.378545; Crispin Street Creetown 11346 No 25/9/2011 11.00-18.00 11.00-18.00 <p>Directions: In Creetown’s main street (St. John St.) look out for the Barholm Arms which is at the south end of the village. Crispin St. runs between the pub and a terrace of new houses. It is signposted to Kirkmabreck Church. Go to the right of a white house (St. Crispins) and just past its gable is the entrance to the Stables. Follow the track for about 150 yards uphill with a burn on your right.</p><p>NB: The track to the house is too narrow to allow access for visitors’ cars, and Crispin St. is too constricted for parking, so please park in St. John Street or Adamson Square and walk up to the house.
