The former gardens of the Greyfriars monastery lay dormant for a number of years until Mary, Queen of Scots granted the Burgh a licence to allow the burial of the dead within its confine. Learn about the history of the site and be expertly guided around the amazing carved stones. Learn the story behind the discovery
of the 13th century medieval coped grave marker that had remained hidden for over 400 years, and its link to some
