Description

Gavin's Mill is an ancient Corn Mill on the banks of the Allander Water in Milngavie. It has a date stone, inset near the lower doors, saying 1664. The Mill was powered by an overshot water wheel which still turns today.

During Door's Open Day activities will include Mil Wheel turning, an exhibition about Gavin's Mill, a slide show, a children's treasure hunt and guided tours of Gavin's Mill.
