Documentation can be found at http://github/MetsExport/ Church of the Sacred Heart <p>The Sacred Heart Church is a Roman Catholic Church that is served by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). The architect of the Church was the Jesuit priest Fr. Richard Vaughn SJ and the Church was founded in 1859. Over the years, the church has been restored and renovated on numerous occasions. In 1907, the organ was installed and was modified in 1963 and 1974. From 1963 to 1990 alterations were made to make the church more compatible with the requirements of the post-Vatican II era. The Church is a category A listed building and is neoclassical in design.</p><p><strong>GLOBAL CONNECTIONS</strong></p><p>Located within the Church is a first-class relic of St Oscar Romero. Oscar Romero was an El Salvadoran Bishop who was marytred whilst saying Mass on the 24th March 1980.
