Documentation can be found at http://github/MetsExport/ Fountainbridge Library <p> Fountainbridge Library is an icon of modern Scottish architecture. It was funded by the publisher Thomas Nelson Jr, and designed by the architect John A. W. Grant (1887 – 1959). It also features friezes on its façade by the sculptor Charles d’Orville Pilkington Jackson. Completed in 1940, the building was designed to house a state-of-the-art library and community hall, embodying the concerns of architects, librarians and social policy makers of the period.
