Glasshouses @ Royal Edinburgh Hospital
<p>The Glasshouses @ Royal Edinburgh Hospital (REH), built in the 1950s, were originally used to propagate plants for the hospital gardens. Following renovation, Artlink moved into the Glasshouses in 2011 and, along with the Cyrenians, use the treasured non-clinical space to support patients and the wider hospital community in creative, artistic and horticultural activities.<br /> <br />The REH Glasshouses are due to be dismantled in 2019, as part of the re-provisioning of the Hospital.</p>

<p>Activities: Guided tours, information leaflets/notes, children's activities, visual displays, stewards/volunteers at key points, refreshments, opportunities to print visitors own photographs in the Travelling Darkroom, Significant Spaces exhibition. Significant Spaces aims to capture spaces in the REH soon to disappear, via photographs taken by the hospital community. The photographer heading Significant Spaces, Natalie Feather, will be in attendance throughout.</p><p>Year of Young People: CAMHS (Children & Adolesent Mental Health Services) is currently sited at the REH, so the needs for greater awareness of young people's mental health and to challenge the stigma surrounding mental health in young people will be highlighted.</p><p>https://www.artlinkedinburgh.co.uk/</p>
