<dcterms:description><![CDATA[Liberton was built by the Dalmahoy family in the late 15th century and has been hailed as ‘the most perfect and unspoilt tower within the precincts of Edinburgh’. The tower contains many features typical of tower houses, including deep walls, slit windows and a listening hole called a ‘laird’s lug’. Following recent restoration to the roof, the tower has reopened in 2012 as a holiday let with the Vivat Trust. www.vivat-trust.org]]></dcterms:description>
