Title

Napier University Sighthill Campus

Description

The new campus is Scotland’s newest hub for health, science and sports education and hosts the Faculty of Health, Life and Social Sciences.

The state of art Edinburgh Napier University building, designed by architects RMJM, was built by Balfour Beatty Construction on an existing campus in Sighthill. At its core is the eight storey lock which was retained from the old university buildings, while further buildings were developed and integrated around it. The new campus is a beacon of sustainability and has already been awarded a BREEAM ‘excellent’ rating. (BREEAM is the world’s foremost environmental assessment method and rating system for buildings). The new campus offers a wide range of top class facilities.
