Description

This Victorian Mansion was designed in 1891 for Arthur Sanderson, the famous whisky distiller who had bought a large collection of fine arts. However, since 1925 it has been the Headquarters of 603 (City of Edinburgh) Squadron, Royal Auxiliary Air Force.The interiors were finely decorated by William Scott Morton, with each room individually designed according to the art displayed a Grecian themed entrance hall, a Renaissance Dining Room, Drawing Room inspired by Robert Adam, and Louis XIII styled bedroom.
