The Orthodox Community of St Andrew & Causey Development Trust

The former Buccleuch Parish Church (now owned by the Orthodox Community of St Andrew - Edinburgh) is C-listed and dates from 1755-6. Built as overflow for St Cuthbert's Parish Church, Lothian Road, its tranquil secret graveyard houses several significant graves. It sits on the western edge of a historic triangular space known locally as The Causey - Causey Development Trust aims to transform this space and is partnering with the Orthodox Community of St Andrew to host this event.

The Orthodox Community of St Andrew is a pan-orthodox church based in Edinburgh with a multi-cultural community. Whilst it worships primarily in English - Greek, Slavonic and Romanian are also used, reflecting just some of the global communities the church encompasses. These communities and their global links will be explored at the event.
