Join the Scottish Waterways Trust for a 2 hour guided walk to explore the social and industrial history of Fountainbridge and Edinburgh's Union Canal, opened in 1822.

Year of Innovation Architecture and Design: Explore the innovative Leamington Lift Bridge, outstanding aqueducts and association with eminent engineers on our journey along the Union Canal - an extraordinary example of Georgian civil engineering.
