Join the Scottish Waterways Trust for a 2 hour guided walk to explore the social and industrial history of Fountainbridge and Edinburgh's Union Canal, opened in 1822.
Year of Innovation Architecture and Design: Explore the innovative Leamington Lift Bridge, outstanding aqueducts and association with eminent engineers on our journey along the Union Canal - an extraordinary example of Georgian civil engineering.

Edinburgh Quay can be accessed at the junction of Fountainbridge and Gardner's Crescent through a pedestrian walkway next to Akva Bar. Look out for Re-Union's purple boat!
