<dc:title>Grahamston Gateway</dc:title>
<dc:description><p>This cast iron gateway is said to be one of the largest ever made. It consists of two massive columns, pilastered with ornamental panels, and weighing fully 4.5 tons each. A semi-circular arch stands on consoled corbels, with an entablature weighing over 2 tons. The gateway was made for the Edinburgh International Exhibition in 1886 opened by Queen Victoria, and was renovated and moved to a new site next to the River Carron by Carron Phoenix in 2001.</p></dc:description>
