Masonic Hall
Dublin Core
Title
Masonic Hall
Description
Erected for 409 Lodge Douglas in an Arts and Crafts style with significant Egyptian elements. The main hall still has its orignal internal decoration. This little building is considered to be Steele's best work (despite the higher B listing given to his Hippodrome cinema and Grangewells, a house in nearby Muirhouses). A list of his works in the Bo'ness area will be available at this venue.
