INVERKEITHING FRIARY
Dublin Core
Title
INVERKEITHING FRIARY
Description
This mediaeval building is the surviving hospitium of the Franciscan Friary and is one of the few upstanding remnants of a Greyfriars site in Scotland. It has undergone many changes, not least a restoration in the 1930’s, but it still retains the core fabric of the original 14thC structure. Ruins of other friary buildings can be seen in the gardens, which are laid out on the Friary’s claustral range.
