Church of the Immaculate Conception (RC)

Dublin Core

Title

Church of the Immaculate Conception (RC)

Description

The architecture and furnishings of this building are described in the Catholic Directory of 1852 as being 'in strict mediaeval style as far as circumstances permit'. The grouping of the church porch, Presbytery House and outhouse, each with simple slated roof and pinned granite walls is simple and distinctive. It was built for Rev Fr. Tochett.
