The Friends of Glasgow Necropolis are delighted to once again offer to undertake friendly and informative tours of the cemetery. Come and hear some of the stories of the approx 50,000 people interred within its magnificent gates dating back to 1832.

You will find monuments designed by major architects and sculptors of
the time, including Alexander �Greek� Thomson, Charles Rennie
Macintosh and JT Rochead, in every architectural style, created for
the prominent and wealthy entrepreneurs of the �Second City of the
Empire�.
