The National Theatre of Scotland is opening up its new facility to the public. We look forward to welcoming all ages to Rockvilla, an engine room for Scottish theatre, designed by Hoskins Architects, on the banks of the Forth and Clyde Canal, part of an emerging cultural quarter.

Activities
We are opening up the front of the building to all visitors, with photography/ video presentations and exhibits from popular National Theatre of Scotland shows.
You can explore behind the scenes, with bookable interactive tours exploring the wardrobe areas, technical workshops, rehearsal rooms & prop store. You can dress up in one of the costumes from the National Theatre of Scotland's wardrobe store and take part in a song workshop with award-winning composer Gareth Williams, co-creator of our World War One trilogy, The 306, part of 14-18 NOW.
To celebrate Year of the Young Person, there will be a drop-in opportunity to take part in the National Theatre of Scotland's Engine Room, our artistic development programme, to find out more about playwriting and theatre-making.
As part of Futureproof, our forthcoming Scotland-wide performance festival for young people, a leading theatre practitioner will lead a special one-off bookable workshop for 14 � 26 year olds.
All activities take place in one of our new rehearsal rooms.
Refreshments available and a canal-side view. There will be a craft activity for young kids.
