Documentation can be found at http://github/MetsExport/ Fraserburgh South Church <p class="western">The South Church was designed by well-know Aberdeen architect J B Pirie in the Rogue Gothic-style in the late nineteenth century. The Church is located on the east side of the town on the site of the town's Old School, adjacent to the short-lived Fraserburgh University, which was founded in the late 16^thcentury. In the south transept of the church there is a carved stone slab depicting Moses looking to Heaven. It is the only surviving fragment of the University. It had been built above a doorway in the school building which preceded the church and was then built into the south wall of the church. It was moved to its current position inside the building in 1969 to protect it.
