Riverside campus opened its doors to students and staff in August 2015 with an ambitious aim to lead the maritime college community globally. City campus on Cathedral Street opened in August 2016 creating a technologically advanced twin site super campus, a flagship Super College and powerhouse of technical and professional skills.
RIVERSIDE CAMPUS
Riverside campus is situated on the south bank of the River Clyde and represents a multi-million investment in maritime education and training, marine engineering and science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Riverside is the most modern, most technologically advanced, most future-proofed maritime campus of all 230 such colleges anywhere in the world. It has won 12 architectural and design awards and was shortlisted for architecture's most prestigious accolade, the RIBA Stirling Prize. It is home to almost 3,000 Marine and Engineering students who have access to a 198-bed en-suite student accommodation tower that sits alongside the main college building, separated by a continental style colonnade and garden area.
