Invergorgon Lifeboat Station operates an all-weather Trent class lifeboat. With its ability to operate safely in all weathers and to inherently self-right, the Trent class is ideally suited for search and rescue in the Cromarty Firth , as well as further out to sea in the vast Moray Firth. The lifeboat is moored afloat adjacent to a pontoon, enabling it to rise up and down with the tide giving the crew safe access at all states of the tide.
