On a guided walk of Quarriers Village, visitors learned about Orphan Homes of Scotland and founder William Quarrier. The picturesque village remains largely unchanged since its beginning in 1878 and is a fascinating piece of social history.

Tours last approx 1 hour. Visitors can also pick up a self-guided walk booklet from Somerville Weir Hall and enjoy the tour at their own pace.
