Documentation can be found at http://github/MetsExport/ South Villa & Ice-house <p>Listed Category A 1830 almost certainly designed by William Robertson for Mrs Grant of Elchies, South Villa is the epitome of the Regency Villa in Elgin. Two storey under a low pitch pavilion roof, the central entrance fronted by a semicircular portico with Greek-Doric columns. 2 storey canted bay windows decorate the flanking elevations, all enriched by original cast-iron railings. The external blind boxes to the windows are an unusual survivor. Fine plaster ceiling and Ionic columned screen in entrance hall, otherwise little of original interior has survived.
