Sandhaven meal mill is unique in that all the machinery survives, including the electric motor, which provided power in the last years of its working life; other fittings include a built-in hinged top desk used by the miller. This is a fascinating way to learn how oatmeal used to be ground in this typical Scottish meal mill.
