Elgin Fire Station
<p>A joint project between Grampian Fire Board, Moray and Aberdeenshire Councils and designed by Aberdeenshire Council architects, Elgin Fire Station was opened in 2001 by the then Deputy First Minister, Jim Wallace. A special feature is the state-of-the-art training block. The Service changed to Scottish Fire & Rescue Service in 2013.</p><p>The Station provides capability with Fire & Rescue appliances but also has resources to deal with forest fires with an all-terrain vehicle, and water rescue incidents.</p>
