Situated in the Victoria and Town Centre Conservation are this 'B' listed two-storey classical temple in red sandstone was Airdrie's first purpose built public library, designed by George Arthur in 1893 and largely paid for by Andrew Carnegie. It is now home to Airdrie Arts Centre.
