Cumbernauld House Park

Description

Cumbernauld House Park is the largest town park in North Lanarkshire and one which is steeped in heritage.

There is a tremendous history of the park, from Medieval Castles and Mary, Queen of Scots, to graded A-listed Cumbernauld House, designed by renowned Architect William Adam, and 1980 hit movie, Gregory's Girl through to the present day and the work of the Friends of Cumbernauld House Park.

Future projects planned for Cumbernauld House Park include an outdoor gym, construction of a new path network, and a community excavation of Cumbernauld Castle.
