Description
The New Plant Nursery Complex was opened on 19th August 1989, in Drumpellier Country Park. The Nursery has the capacity of growing 927 square metres of plants under cover. It arranges floral decorations for all Council events, produces the summer and winter plant containers as well as supplying the bedding and perennial plants for various site throughout North Lanarkshire.
The Nursery has been a popular tourist attraction over the years seeing various tropical plants and seasonal displays, with ornamental gardens such as the house garden and peace garden.
