North Lanarkshire Council - Bellshill Complex

Join in on a weekend of events at North Lanarkshire Council's Bellshill Complex which houses the Transport Waste Management and Land Management. Transport activities include a MOT workshop, refueling and parking for some of the council vehicles. Events will include See the Council Fleet, Tours of the Workshop and salt dome, Come and see what happens to your recycling and Come and try an electric vehicle (please note a driving licence is required for this event). Climbing wall, mountain biking and make your own smoothie on the smoothie bike.

Due to unforeseen circumstances the building can only open until 14.30 on both days and not 17.00 as stated in the brochure.

Tours to the workshop and salt dome, electric vehicle trails (book your trip at the desk in the Marquee and provide your driving licence), mountain biking (minimum age 9 years old), climbing wall (must be 1.2 metres or over in height), recycling displays and make your own smoothie on the smoothie bike.

Walking Tours to salt dome every half hour - meet at Marquee. Tour times 10.15, 10.45, 11.15, 11.45, 12.15, 12.45, 1.15, 1.45 and 2.15.
