<item_type_metadata:activities>
The lighthouse is only accessible around low tide across a tidal causeway which adds to the adventure when visiting this remote and wild location. Visits up the tower are available by guided tour only via the Sanday Ranger. Binoculars are recommended and wellies essential!

Lighthouse keepers house is closed. We will visit the lighthouse tower and ascend to the light room and outer balcony (weather permitting). Tours are only available with a guide due to the remote location. Full guided tour of the lighthouse tower leaving Scuthvie Bay car park at 4pm.
</item_type_metadata:activities>
