Clay Stove, Viewbank, Errol

Dublin Core

Title

Clay Stove, Viewbank, Errol

Description

Viewbank contains a clay stove - similar to a 'Finnish Stove' and built largely of clay. At this stage the stove is not plumbed into a heating system and so provides heat directly to the house. The stove was installed in June as part of ClayFest 2015 that was held in Errol, 'clay capital of the Carse' and architecturally unique in Scotland for the number of houses within it made of clay.
