Friarton Recycling Centre (Waste Education Boardwalk), Friarton Depot & Earnside Energy (Organics Recycler, Binn Farm)

Perth and Kinross Council maintain the Waste Education Boardwalk located at Friarton Recycling Centre. The WEBWalk provides an innovative interpretation centre for school and community groups.
Earnside Energy's composting facilities are located at Binn Farm in Glenfarg.

Perth and Kinross Council along with Earnside Energy (at Binn Farm) invite residents on a tour of the Waste Education Boardwalk located at Friarton Recycling Centre, followed by a minibus tour of the Friarton Depot sheds and then a tour of Earnside Energy's composting facilities located at Binn Farm in Glenfarg.

Visitors will have the opportunity to view behind the scenes of local recycling operations, will find out what happens to their waste and will see first-hand how material from brown bins is composted.

Minibus will collect visitors on Shore Road by South Inch Carpark from 09:20, departing 09:30. Booking essential via www.dod_friarton.eventbrite.co.uk (15 spaces). Sturdy footwear to be worn.

Visitors must not park at Friarton Recycling Centre or Friarton Depot.
