Situated in Tarves Conservation Area, visitors to the Tarves Heritage Centre can reminisce about old schooldays in the old classroom - complete with slate and slate pencils, dunces cap and teacher’s belt or tawse! Also on display is the Tarves bowl, made at Seaton Pottery, as well as fashion items and tradesmen’s tools. Displays will be available, and visitors will be able to try their hand at writing on slate and dressing up. There will also be a ‘Hetty the Heritage Mouse Quiz’ for younger visitors.

Café next door for refreshments.
