Built in 1932 to replace the 1808 church in East Buchanan Street, St Mirin's is dedicated to the Patron Saint of Paisley and became a cathedral for the newly formed Diocese of Paisley in 1948. It continues to serve as a parish church, with recent renovations taking place in 2012.
