Description

Shetland Islands Council operate a fleet of 12 ferries betweeen mainland Shetland and the islands.  Every year they make over 70,000 crossings carrying some 700,000 passengers and 300,000 vehicles.  The MV Daggri (together with her sister ship the MV Dagalian) is the newest and largest vessel in the Council's fleet.  At 66 meters in length and weighing 1861 gross tonnes, she carries up to 144 passengers and 35 vehicles across Yell Sound.
