Zero Carbon House
Dublin Core
Title
Zero Carbon House
Description
A “zero carbon” home, built on Britain’s most northerly island. Designed by Michael and Dorothy Rea, the house has become a test-bed for living “off-grid”.
The couple generate their power from renewable sources, run an electric car, and intend to grow most of their food at home in hi-tech greenhouses using a hydroponic growing system.
