&lt;p&gt;Tolbooth was built at the start of&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;the 1700s and is an exceptionally good example of a burgh tolbooth. It&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;has had many uses including; a municipal centre, courthouse and jail,&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;workhouse and wartime army recruitment centre.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Although it was converted 200 years after its construction it retains&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;substantial 18th and 19th century interior decoration and is now a&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Doors Open Day 2019&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;thriving arts and music venue. The building will be open for visitors to&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;wander around the public areas or to take a tour.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;as there is limited capacity. They can be booked via the Tolbooth Box&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;will last approximately one hour and will start on Saturday at 11.00 or&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1.00 and on Sunday at 2.30 or 4.00.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Disabled access to all floors and public areas via lift - Guided Tours&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;include stairways and narrow doorways and are not suitable for people&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;requiring full disabled access. However, the building will be open to&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;people to wander around themselves in all public areas.&lt;/p&gt;
