Description

The church is of a classic 20C ecclesiastical design. This is the third oldest Roman Catholic parish in the Archdiocese of Glasgow, founded in 1841. Marble reredos, dado and altar. Our Lady of the Assumption statue by Jack Mortimer. Altar and baldacchino decoration by local artist Jim Brown. Stations of the Cross from original St Mary's (1900) and restored by Jim Brown.
