This is a fine example of an early 19th Century meal mill and kiln. Sandhaven meal mill is unique in that all the machinery survives, including the electric motor, which provided power in the last years of its working life; other fittings include a built-in hinged top desk used by the miller. The mill was restored in the 1990s.
