Description
Built in 1896 as Aberdeen's Trades Hall the first film was shown in this building two years after it was built. It became a permanent cinema in 1910 as the Coliseum and was renamed the New Kinema in 1921. It became the Belmont Cinema after a refurbishment in 1935. It closed in 1953 and became a warehouse until it was reopened as a cinema in 2000.
