The church is rectangular on plan and has a nave, chancel, vestry and tower. It was built in coursed, roughly-shaped red sandstone and has a slate roof. It is aligned north-east/south-west, with a pathway surrounding the building. Recent editions to the west end to house a disabled toilet and storeroom with glass panelled entrance doors.
