The bunkhouse opened in 2012 following the repair and conservation of the Old Schoolhouse, a Grade B listed building. The repair project was developed and delivered by the Kintyre Amenity Trust in partnership with Argyll and Bute Council and HIE. Facilities include; 16 beds, a kitchen, showers/toilets, drying facilities and a dining area.
