As part of Doors Open Day Cowal Open Studios offers? 43 venues which? will be open to the public featuring the work of eminent local artists and makers.? Many situated in beautiful and more remote parts of Cowal and others based in the town of Dunoon with easy access to amenities and transport routes, they make a fascinating and rewarding collection of visitor attractions with the opportunity to discuss visual art with live practitioners!

Each venue will be hosted by the artist/maker who will demonstrate examples of their working practice - e.g. a ceramist my show how to throw a pot; a painter may describe their working methods - and each venue will feature an exhibition of the practitioner?s work.
