Description
The congregation was established in 1847 to serve English and Irish weavers who worked in the main industry of the town at that time. The current building, a small, simple, gothic style sandstone church was built in 1883 on land gifted by the Cassillis Estate. Over recent years the church has undergone some refurbishment which includes replacing some pews and chairs.
