Galashiels Fire Station
<p class="MsoNormal">A free standing brick fire station with separate hose tower. The relatively modern station is one of two fire stations in the Scottish Borders with full time firefighters on duty. The original fire station was established with the help of the mill owners who obviously had an interest in protecting the textile industry.</p>
